The short version: the Software runs entirely on your computer and sends nothing anywhere. The website collects the minimum needed to sell you a license and count visitors.
The Software
Books Done Fast does not make network requests. It has no accounts, no sync, no telemetry, no crash reporting, and no update checks. Your books are stored in files on your own disk and never leave it unless you copy them somewhere yourself. We cannot see your financial data and have no way to access it.
The website
Analytics
booksdonefast.com uses Plausible, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. It records aggregate page views, referrers, and coarse location derived from your IP address, which is not stored.
Purchases
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details and email address under Stripe's privacy policy; we never see your card number. From Stripe we receive your email address and the purchase record, which we keep in order to generate your license key, email it to you, handle support and refunds, and comply with tax and accounting obligations.
Downloads
Downloads are served from our own download server, which keeps standard web server logs (IP address, time, file requested) for a limited period for security and capacity planning.
If you email support, we keep the conversation so we can help you and refer back to it later. We don't send marketing email.
Sharing
We don't sell or share your information with anyone except the service providers named above (Stripe for payments, Plausible for analytics, and our email provider for delivering license keys), and only as needed to provide the service.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@eligian.com. Deleting your purchase record means we can no longer reissue your license key, so we'll confirm before doing it.

If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated and material changes will be noted here.
